Merging Two Documents Into One

I need to merge 2 presentations. Is there a way I can tell it to not update the second one to the color scheme, etc., of the first one and just have it come in the way it was done.

PowerPoint 2000 - In reading through these discussions, I did find the site echosvoice.com/multipletemplates and found the workaround on there that will work. Unless you have an easier way???
