I have a date that is in the format yyyymmdd. Is there an option somewhere I can choose that will read the date and display it in a format such as MMMMM dd, yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy, etc?
Look in Word's Help under "Date-Time Picture (\@) field switch" or see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/DateFields.htm. This assumes that your
date is a field. If it's plain text, you'll have to convert it yourself.
