I am using outlook express and outlook alternating on the same computer.
This is not a very good idea I guess. To make the transition to outlook
easier: Is there a way to merge all my mails, rules, address book etc into
outlook so that I do not miss anything. I know I should have done that when
I started using Outlook, but now there are things unique to either program.

Use File-> Export from within Outlook Express to export to Outlook.
