Merge Rows?

Sorry about twn questions right off the bat, but I'd like to know i
what I need can be done. Thanks for reading.

Is it possible for me to merge cells and keep the data legible? In th
attached example, I'd like to be able to merge cells two, three, an
four, but keep the data at leasst looking somewhat similar to how i
looks now.

"Merge and Center" seems to ruin everything. It says that it will kee
the data in the upper-left hand cell only, but it doesn't even do that


Sorry (again) if this is basic, but TIA for any answers you may have

You have to put all the data in the cell in the upper left corner of the
merged area. If you use Alt+Enter (to force a return) while typing the
strings, you might be able to make it look similar setting word wrap to
true.
