merge fax

I am trying to merge and fax from word. There are several choices for me as
far as what format the names and fax numbers are in although they are
currently in Access. I set up the fax and it is set to MAPI, but it is still
not available as an option in the mail merge. I can't figure out why it is
missing. Any advice would be welcomed.

Check that Windows win.ini file has the following entries:

[Mail]
CMCDLLNAME32=mapi32.dll
CMCDLLNAME=mapi.dll
CMC=1
MAPI=1
MAPIX=1
MAPIXVER=1.0.0.1
OLEMessaging=1

and that mapi32.dll is in the system path (it should be in the system32 sub
folder of the Windows OS folder).
Add the entries if missing and reboot.
