menus error

hi,
whenever i do something that makes a menu to come like right click on the
desktop and then there are subemenus like new> in the right click menus so i
dont know what happened to my computer but to open the new> submenu i have to
hold there for a second or two but now it opens imediately so when i browse
through the programs in start menu every submenu gets opened imediately one
after the other so can i bring it back to one second hold please help its
really annoying

Check your mouse settings via the Control Panel, X-Mouse if you are using
TweakUI and Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/General/Click items as
follows.....
