Menu not visible in "Normal" mode

I am creating a drop-down menu. I have pasted the java script into my html
in the "html" mode. The results are visible in the "Preview" mode, but not
in the "Normal" mode. The menu also displays when I view in Explorer. Any
ideas what is wrong? I'm using FrontPage 2002.

Normal mode does not display any JavaScript by design. Use Preview, or
Preview in Browser.

Note that a menu the requires JavaScript to be seen may also be
invisible to search engines and any users that have JavaScript disabled.
