Menu items missing from Windows Explorer

My menu items (File, Edit, View, etc) have completely
disappeared when I open Windows Explorer.

The entire bar is gone!

Anyone have a clue for me?

Had this happen to me about a year ago...after living with it for 4 months
of not finding the answer and trying different things, I finally reinstalled
the o/s.
