I've purchased a new DDR memory module, which is compatible with my machine,
but found slot two on the MB doesn't appear to work, is there anything I can
do to activate it?

Thanks in advance

The only way I can think of is replacing the motherboard. This is a
hardware failure.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the advice, it looks like thats the olnly way to resolve the it,
maybe you can help with a follow up Q, if I change the motherboard, do I
need to obtain new drivers or would the ones on my restore disk suffice?

As you'll have gathered I'm no expert when it comes to PC's, any
recommendarion for a new motherboard?
