Hi everyone,,
A friend of mine is having a big problem with the memory on his computer and
I thought Id ask here in case someone has had the same thing happen..
Hes using Windows XP Pro and has a cable connection, through a wireless
router , though the wireless part is disabled.
He is able to browse the net , and then all of a sudden every page comes up
with a 404 page not displayed. He then tries to open his task Manager and
the following error code and message comes up
(0xc0000017) the application failed to initialize properly
He then restarts and everything is working perfectly again,, until then a
couple of days later the very same thing happens...
Its sounding like some type of memory leak or Windows not releasing memory
when apps close.... that error message does relate to lack of memory,
question is, what can be done about it,,
any ideas?
Many thanks in advance
Richard.
