Memory not recognized

I installed 2 (2GB DDR2-667) memory chips in my Toshiba Satellite x205-s9359
with Vista Ultimate and when I go to control panel | system I only see 3070
MB (same under Task Manager | Performance)

When I look at BIOS I see that it recognizes all 4096.

Any ideas?

Take a look at this..

and before you get out of shape, using a matched pair of 2gb memory modules
will give you a performance benefit over using 1 x 2gb and 1 x 1gb
