I have installed 512 meg of memory and since doing so the
3d games such as tiger woods 2004 and uru wich worked
fine at 256 meg now keep rebooting to the desktop and now
cannot play the games with a higher amount of memory. I
had to remove the other 256 memory chip in order to get
to play any of my 3d games. I also use a readon 3d
graphocs card woth 128 meg.

Can anyone help with this issue.

I've also found that adding memory to an existing pc can be a problem. I've
found two things that have gotten the pc to accept the additional memory and
work with no problems
Add the additional memory, clear the CMOS, boot. When I did this, Win
XP required me to reactivate! Don't know why. Had to use the phone option,
but it went through.

Try the memory sticks in different slots. Try booting from just the new
memory stick; then add the original one. Try different combinations. This
has worked on a couple motherboards. I'm sure if you knew more about what
the BIOS was doing, you could eliminate many of the combinations. It's also
possible that all this did was, essentially, the same as clearing the CMOS.
