Memory check

When I boot the computer it checks it's memory how do I deable this in cmos?

The long and the short of it is you can't u can only tell it to do a fast
memory check i think

I would feel more comfortable knowing its checking and registering the
amount memory I have installed. Its not taking that long is it?

I haven't time it, but I'll say about 1 - 2 minutes I guess.

Thats kind of long....you may have something else going on...wha MB doyou
have and bios version?
