Hi,
I keep getting the same error messages when I run
programs that put a big burden on the processor (video
editing/compressing/etc..). I have tried to use several
programs and I generally get the same error where the
program will come to a halt and I'll get the friendly
little message that an error has occured and the program
needs to close. The error message occasionally states
that a "memory allocation error" has been violated or
an "out-of-bounds memory access occured". Any help would
be greatly appreciated. THanks,
-christopher

Please give us more details, like your hardware configuration and the
programs you have tried!

A few of the programs: Snapstream, VirtualDub, DVDLab,
DIVX Doctor, etc. It occurs on just about anything where
I have to leave the computer for a while so that it can
run whatever job I've got set, usually building video
clips or compressing.

I'm on a recently built (2 weeks ago) AMD2200 with Asus
motherboard VIA KT600 A7V600, two sticks of 512 PC3200
RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro video card, Audigy Platinum sound
card, WinXP Pro.

Thanks.
