When I switch my pc on the message "memory access
violation in module kernel32 at 11.35:82143673" pops up.
What does this mean and how do I fix it. Help!

Did you recently get an E-mail message, purportedly from
Microsoft, and installed the attachment it included? If so, it
wasn't from Microsoft (Microsoft *never* sends out patches by
E-mail) and you installed a virus.

Is there a quick and easy way to remove the virus. My agv
anti virus seems to have been disabled. Im a computer
novice so please help!! I need straightforward step by
step instructions to get rid of it!
(e-mail address removed)

Go to www.sarc.com and download the Swen removal tool, or go to McAfee's
AVERT and download Stinger (you can Google for that, can't you?). Print
out the removal instructions. Go into Safe Mode and disable System
Restore by right-clicking on My Computer or from the System Applet in
Control Panel. Run the tool. Follow the removal instructions carefully.
Run a current antivirus, keep it updated, don't open attachments. If
this is still too overwhelming (and it's no shame if it is) then have a
local computer repair place/person do the work for you. Your computer
probably needs to be cleaned up, anyway.
