kernel 32 error

When I boot Window XP, an error message window pops up, saying that "memory
access violation in module kernel32 at 9773:12787138" After closing the
error message window, I could run all the application programs without a big
problem. Recently I installed Spy Sweeper(by webroot), and then I tried to
run Spy Sweeper. It does not run because of the sane error "memory access
violation in module kernel32. This error message started to show up after I
recently installed MS Security Service Pack 2, I believe. Please help me to
get rid of the Kernel32 error message.

Sounds like you have a variant of the SWEN (or is that Sven?) virus.
Download McAfee Avert stinger and run it (possibly in safe mode).

If you still have problems:
Empty out the Startup folder of the start menu (and run msconfig).
In msconfig click on the startup tab and press "disable all". Press OK and
restart. Now try McAfee Avert stinger.
