Memo Pad Freeware?

I am looking for a free word processor to expand Memo Pad.
I had it on my M100 a long time ago and it was a bigger version of Memo Pad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Textpad? Google for it.
not strictly free, but if you don't pay for it, it just nags a bit.

Textpad is not free in any sense of the word.

"You are welcome to download a copy of TextPad for evaluation, or to
upgrade an earlier release. There is no charge for the download, but you
must pay for the software if you decide to keep it. A single user license
costs only £16.50 GBP (about $29 USD)."

Anyway, the original poster was after Palm OS freeware. There will be some
good alternatives here:
