Membership management template?

I'm really new to access and don't know anything about it. I have looked on
the Microsoft website and found templates for a membership database for
Access 2000. Unfortunately I am using Access 2003. Are there any free
templates out there? Am thinking editing an existing one is going to be much
easier than starting from scratch! thanks Hannah

Simply download the 2000 format template, and open it in 2003. A2003 reads
2000 databases perfectly well (and in fact defaults to 2000 format when you
create new databases).

Hannah, by all means, try it and see how well it fits your needs.

If you end up needing something more powerful than that template, you might
consider buying John Viescas' book "Building Access Applications" (Microsoft
Press, 2005.) The book comes with a CD that includes the membership
application, so effectively you buy the documentation and get the database
for free.

And if you want to read before buying:

(Just to be clear, I have no connection with the author, and do not benefit
in any way from his sales.)

Hi John. Thanks. I have tried that but can't get the template to open in
A2003. Must be doing something wrong! Will keep trying. Thanks
