CHANGE USERNAME TO westes
It looks like MegaScenery has finally listened to its users, and taken the
suggestion made by myself and others to start using one meter satellite
photos instead of five meter. FS2004 has only five meter resolution, but
you get a much better result mapping one meter data into five meter.
MegaScenery is using the new mapping technique in its Pacific Northwest
product, and the initial screenshots on their web site are quite
spectacular:

The detail on the individual homes and buildings is quite good, and more
importantly it is as real as it gets because it is an actual satellite
image!
I hope we can talk them into redoing the Northern and Southern California
products to use this new mapping technique.
