Meeting request from outlook 2003 to 2000

When I send meeting request from my machine to people that have version
2000 all that they receive is code. Is there an add-in that allows me
to send meeting requests regardless of what version of outlook the
person is running
 
Try removing the reminder from the meeting request before sending it -- see
if that makes a difference.
