Meeting invitation preferences

Can I change the default on how meeting invitations appear on my calendar? A
co-worker sent a vacation notice to me, and it showed up on my calendar as
"tentative" until I accepted it. I only check my email a few times a day,
and it looked like I was booked for two weeks until I accepted the invite.
Then my time showed as "free time".

I believe any unaccepted meeting will always appear as "Tentative" until
accepted. If you want Outlook to accept meetings automatically, you can do
that. Tools>Options>Calendar Options>Resource Scheduling (for Outlook 2003)
