I've used WinAmp in the past (couple years ago) but don't recall that
feature. Do you mean that I can set EQ during play, and the next time that
song plays the EQ will be reset to the same parameters?

That's what you asked for, isn't it? Obviously, you have to have Winamp
save the settings and have it auto-load same.
