Media Player not working

I recently installed Office 2003 on my machine. Then
uninstalled Office 2000 not knowing that FP2000 was in
there also. So I re-installed only FP2000 from my Office
2000 disc. Now the Windows Media Player is not functioning
withing FP even though on it's own it works correctly. BTW
it is version 9.

Any help would be appreciated..

If I understand the question and FWIW, there is a media-player add-in
for FP that works (sort of - it's a bit buggy) for FP2002. There is a
different add-in for media player 9 but when I installed that (after
uninstalling the previous version) I couldn't get it to work at all...
