Media player goes green when video starts up ,,why??

L

LouisG

if i open one file in media player 10 , it opens fine and plays fine , but
if i open another file after closing the first ,, it starts playing then
the screen goes green and it almost seems like it freezes.

i've updated the codecs and my video cards drivers to the most recent ,, if
i play with the hardware acceleration it won't do this , but the
acceleration is down to nothing ,,and then it starts to affect other
applications.

anything else that i could try to alleviate this problem?

thanks

I suggest you post to the media player newsgroup. I have also included for
