i attempted to burn a cd with mp 9 and received an "invalid alignment' error
message. so i upgraded to mp-10 and now after the songs are converted, the cd
closes without burning.

I have had a simular problem. I have tried using cd-rw, cd-r and cd-r music
dicks and every time they are convert with no problem then once they begin to
copy(burn) to the disk I get an error message. I have tried slowing down the
speed and everything suggested by help... I even bought different brands of
cd's. What else can be done? I have managed to copy one disk but it would
not play at all on any cd player or the computer. I am also running winXP w/
service pack 2.
