Media management

I'm the My pictures folder in my root directory there is an icon that looks
like a small silver / light
grey suitcase. Every folder under it is also the same type of icon. there
are at least 20 folders. the files are in fact family pictures. The trouble
is all the directory appears to be controlled by media management. How can't
get rid of it.
Every tine I attempt to modify the folder it crashes Windows explorer.
There for when I try to move a picture or modify the folder I have to go
into Task Manager to stop the windows explorer program. What am I doing
wrong?

What do *you* mean by "controlled by media management". What media/image
management software do you have on your computer?
