Hi.

i tried to delete this program from the list of startup,
and after saying that it was deleted ... it still
shows ... on the list of programs...

then i tried to go manually and delete it ... and it said
that it was on use...

i dont know what is the problem ... but basicly ... the
question/sugestion...

is that .. if the file was not deleted ... it should
say ... "file was not deleted" ...

thanks ...

You might try restarting in safe mode, by pressing the f8 function key
before the initial Windows screen appears. Then retry the file deletion
operation.

I agree that what you saw appears to be a bug--but it may also be possible
that although Microsoft Antispyware took what should have been effective
action to delete the file (busy files can be deleted on the next restart,
for example)--there may be some other process which is recreating the file.
This kind of mechanism is typical of some adware or trojans.

It may well be worth your while to do a full scan with both Microsoft
Antispyware and your updated antivirus program, while started in safe mode.
Scan with each until a full scan comes through clean.

delete the file...

basicly would be a nice feature... if the program did it
for you...

I'm sure that the developers working on these issues share your
sentiment--don't know how well they'll be able to do, but they've been able
to significantly improve cleaning operations even with the beta1
code--reducing the number of LSP breakage reports, for example.

I expect beta2 will be even better.
