Media Center

Whenever I try and run PowerDVD (by Cyberlink) to watch a dvd it opens in
Media Center and I cannot access a lot of the controls that PowerDVD has.
How can I prevent PowerDVD always opening in Media Center?

What version are of both are you using? I'm using the retail version of
PowerDVD 6 Deluxe, & OEM MCE 2005 that I installed myself, and don't
have your problem.

Was both the PowerDVD and MCE preinstalled with your computer?

PowerDVD is version 5.5 installed by myself. Media Center came preinstalled
on new computer (January 2006). I did not have this problem until I
configured Media Center. I really don't use Media Center (at least yet) and
would be happy to "unconfigure" it if I knew how!

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling PowerDVD? Have you look on
the Cyberlink web site for updates for your version of PowerDVD?
