i'm running xp mce 2005 and i'm trying to set it up so that i can watch tv
on my pc but i can't get it work. when i do a dirrect cable connection with
the vcr i can get that to work but i can't get the cable to come through,
whether it passes through the vcr or not. even if i bypass the comcast box.
i have comcast digital cable. what i am trying to do is do a slightly dual
connection. i want it so that the cable to go to both the tv and my notebook
pc. i split the signal after the vcr so that the vcr signal goes to both the
tv and pc. i think i got that working for the pc, just not the cable. both
the cable and vcr signals work on the tv properly. can someone please help
me so the cable signal will go to the pc as well. i know i got the cables
set up right.

Use a $99 TV to watch TV, not a PC.
