Media Center Guide in Canada?

The Media Center on my new Sony VAIO seems to require
that I enter a US Zip code to obtain guide information,
even though the Help function indicates that a Canadian
Postal code is acceptable. As a result, I cannot set up
the Guide. The Sony Help desk says that I cannot use
this funtion in Canada, which doesn't seem right.

Does anyone know of a way to get this set up in Canada?
 
Make sure your location setting in the Regional and Language control panel
to Canada (make sure Media Center is closed when you make this change).

Also make sure your date, time and timezone settings are correct.

This will ensure that the EPG download will be correct.

If that doesn't work, make sure you post back with the postal code you are
using and your tv source/provider
