Medal of Honor - Spearhead

I'm running Win XP home edition on a P4, 2 gig, 256 ram,
enough hard drive space, defragmented, and the original
MOH Allied Assault is loaded. I try to install
Spearhead, the installshield wizard loads and then the
first dialog box comes up, then I click next and nothing
happens; it hangs or locks up. Try to cancel, ctrl-alt-
del, click on the X and nothing happens. I have to shut
the computer. Any ideas?? Is it a direct x 9 problem
(which I installed recently)? Thanks.
 
I have a setup almost like yours and the game works fine.
P4 2.4
768 memory
10 gig free HD space

What do you call enough hard drive space? Just thinking out loud.

30 gig free....Found the fix off the EA website; it seems
it conflicts w/rundll32.exe and it has to be shut off via
task mgr. Did that and it installed fine.
