Meaning of Memory timings? Asus P5W DH Deluxe

Hi,

I have an Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard and a 2.66 processor E6700 and
Corsair Twin2X2048-PC2-8500C5 (2x1GB)
(Micron Memory Chips)

I have managed to overclock the processor to a stable 3.6Ghz.

I have followed the specification and advice here:

http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2797&p=3

near the bottom of this page it says:

"With the wide range of adjustable memory ratios and voltages, memory
was set to end up somewhere around DDR2-800 3-3-3-9 at 2.2V"

What does the 3-3-3-9 mean in terms of what is mentioned in the memory
timing options on the motherboard. Quoting the motherboard manual:

DRAM cas# Latency [5 Clocks]
Controls the latency between the SDRAM read command and the time the
data actually becomes available. Configuration options:[6 Clocks] [5
Clocks]
[4 Clocks][3 Clocks]

DRAM RAS# Precharge [4 Clocks]
Controls the idle clocks after issuing a precharge command to the DDR
SDRAM
Configuration options: [2 Clocks] ~ [6 Clocks]

DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay [4 Clocks]
Controls the latency between the DDR SDRAM active command and the
read/write command. Configuration options: [2 Clocks]~[6 Clocks]

DRAM RAS# Activate to Precharge Delay [15 Clocks]
Configuration options@ [4 Clocks]~[18 Clocks]

DRAM Write Recovery Time [4 Clocks]
Configuration options:[2 Clocks]~[6 Clocks]

I am confused because there are 5 numbers to set here and the 3-3-3-9
has 4 numbers? What should I set to which number do you think?

Thanks for any advice?

The figures you quote in the order you quote are as follows:-

CAS Latency (tCL): 3
RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3
Row Precharge (tRP): 3
Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 9
