MDW

MDW is new to me so I created an mdw file to practice.
When I was through I deleted the new MDW I created but
when I went to open access on my desktop it told me it
needed the newly created MDW file that I just deleted. I
thought the C:\WINNT\system32\system.mdw was the default.
What do I need to do to make the C:\WINNT\system32
\system.mdw the default again?

If you created a new mdw then you must have used the
Wrkgadm.exe. You must just be overlooking something in
that dialog box. Run it again and it will have a join
button that will let you set the default mdw file and set
it back to the system.mdw.

When you created a new mdw, it made it the default one to use. Run the
workgroup administrator again, and you'll see an option to 'Join' a
workgroup. Click it and rejoin the default system.mdw workgroup.
