Hi all:

I've got FP2002 on my machine. I remember using FP98 and you could
keep a list of files on the left side, next to the views bar and then
edit the document on the right side. Is this gone in 2002? It
appears that I can either look at all the files on the web or the
document that I want to edit!?!?

Andy,

As I recall, and you mention, FP98 had two windows:
1) The FP Explorer for managing files
2) The FP Editor for, well, editing files

In FP2000 (and above) there is now a single interface. The right hand, or
"main" region will change depending on what function you are performing such
as viewing reports, or editing files.

To edit a file while at the same time viewing your folders,
- Open your web
- If you don't see a folder list on the left click "View | Folder List"
- Double-click on any of your files to open them in the main window

If you find you prefer to have the full window available for editing, you
can add the "View | Folder List" button to your toolbar fot quick toggling.

If you happen to choose "View | Folders" this will give you a "Windows
Explorer"-like view of your web's directories and files. Folders are listed
on the left and you can see the folder contents on the right.

Hope that helps.
