.mdf files extension?

please help me, which program can play (not burn) the
file with an extension of .MDF files?
Because I downloaded the movie from my friend, but it
fails to play it out..
Would you please do me a small favour,
can you send your reply or answer to my email:

because i am a flight attendent in united airlines, and i
can check your email in airports.

Try FILExt - The File Extension Source at http://filext.com/

As you will note on their page there are sometimes multiple entries for a
particular file extension.
There is a program they list from Alchohol Software (there is a link
available from FILExt after you do a search for .mdf)
that is a DVD ripping and burning program that may be what you need.
