I am getting a 'Data cannot be retrieved from the source
you have selected' message. Looking it up it appears that
I needed to update my MDAC. After having done so, the
problem still remains. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Give us more details (including code snippets). What type of database are
you trying to read? What connection string are you using?

This isn't enough for anyone to be able to solve.
