McShield.exe process causing severe memory strain

Have both KazaaPlus and McAfee VirusScan installed. The
McShield.exe process is killing memory. Does this
process belong to one of these apps? How do I minimize
the memory load?

McShield.exe seems to be part of McAfee Internet Security, ie, anti virus or firewall. It is on my system, but does not use much memory. If you have McAfee on your system, then you may have to alter your scan settings (they may be permanently scanning your system). Don't know about Kazza plus, I've never had it on my computer, so I doubt you got it from there. Visit the McAfee web site, see if anything about McShield.exe is there. Good luck

McShield IS part of the McAfee AV suite.
Minimize memory load via scan settings
