May I connect a mac into a domestic windows network?

I have a domestic windows network, and I have a friend
with a Mac Sys.Op. 10, can I connect this PC into my
network in order to share our internet conection?

How can I do this?
 
if just sharing the internet, that is easy. If you have DHCP or router,
assign the same ip range and DNS to the mac. if you don't have dhcp or
router, use ICS.
