Maxthon home Icon goes to http:///

Hello ALL:
Is this a Maxthon bug as it works fine in myie2?

When I set internet options to use a home page like www.google.com,
myie2 and Maxthon will start with Google.
However, when I hit the home icon, myie2 goes there but Maxthon will
not. Whatever I put in, trys to go to http:/// in Maxthon.

Is this a bug?

I used GreenBrowser (based on MyIE) and it did the same, too.
I thought it was just my Proxomitron.

It is a shame they broke it. It worked (still works) in myie2!
I have had no problems with that. And no other problems with Maxthon
either, It works fine and fast.

Have you updated to the newest 1.0.0.70 version?

Yes, and I believe you mean 170 version. Someone else reported the same
thing. Not sure why myie2 is OK and Maxthon isn't. I can not figure out
what else to configure. In fact, if I change the startup/home page it
does work on startup. It is only the home icon that gives the http:///
result.

Also, as of yesterday, I could not post on the myie2 forum and the
maxthon forum is not up yet.
