MaxLocksPerFile (File Sharing lock count exceeded)

HI,
I was trying to use Table Analyzer to split a table, and got this message:
File sharing lock count exceeded.
Increase MaxLocksPerFile registry entry.

I then edit the registry, found MaxLocksPerFile appearing at several places,
changed them all (from 9500 to something like 20,000, and later to 100,000).
And I still have the same error.
The error occurs when the wizard tries to create queries for the split tables.
Does anyone know about this ? Thanks.

QUESTION WITHDRAWN.
REBOOT FIX IT.
(Still I wonder what could have generated so many "file sharing locks"?)
