I got a boot up message saying my maximum registry files
or space or whatever is too low and I need to increase the
size but I have no idea how to do it and my techie who
built this thing for me has moved to New Zealand. Can
anyone help an old lady?

To increase registry quota Control Panel|System|Advanced|Performance
Options|Change, then under "Registry Size" you can set the value to a higher
number.
