Maximum Records in Table - Maximum Size of Database

Does anyone know the approximate limits for records in a table or total
database size limitations? Thanks for any information on this.

In Access 2003 Help, search on "Specifications". There is no limit on the
number of records in a Table. The maximum size of an Access database is 2
GB -- so that implies that a Table can be "not quite" 2 GB because of the
structural foundations of the database. However, you can link to Tables in
multiple databases, so you can work with more than 2 GB of data, and some
do.

In Access 2.0, the overall size limit was 1.0 GB (a limit due to the 16-bit
addressing used in the actual Access product). In fact, I have heard that
Access 2.0 will not run on a system that has more than 1 GB of RAM, so
people have had to resort to a 1 GB virtual machine to run old Access 2.0
databases.
