In Msoft Biz Contact Manager, how do I change the maximum quantity in
business contact manager/opportunity. 10k is too limiting and multiples of
100, 1000 etc causes rounding problems.

I believe this has come up before and I believe the answer from
Microsoft was that they didn't expect small businesses to sell more
than 9,999 of anything.

What business are you in that you sell more than 10K of an item?

Are you a small business, or a big company that decided to use BCM
because it fits your needs?

Just curious. Thanks.

I have the same problem that the quantity limitation is 99999. I am working
in a large cooperation and we have selling of more than 1,000,000 and it is
anoying.
Microsoft should even let small business users decide where limitation of
quantities is. I am using the % to multiply with price and quantity so that
the subtotals are at least correct!

Thanks Luther:
there are so many threads it's tough to find the right ones sometimes. I'm
a financial advisor and track my business by GDC (gross dealer concession).
this is a dollar amount and can be well above the $10k mark. Also dollar
amounts not yet translated to GDC can be in the millions. I want to be able
to quantify business opportunities in terms of productivity measurement using
GDC and dollar amounts. Counting opportunities is easy but quantifying them
is the tough part.
