Maximum of Characters in Outlook to field

Hi All,

Odd question I know, whats the maximum ammount of characters allowed in the
Outlook 2003 TO field?

Not sure as I have never hit it since mail servers tend to reject messages
based on recipient count before hitting the limit. Out of curiosity, why
are you asking?
 
Hi Neo,

Thanks my customer has asked me, not sure why he wants to know. However what
I have done is actually fill up the TO field with characters and counted them
up...and the total is 3356 characters.

Still interested to hear an official answer if anybody has one.
