I want to creat a new data base that I know will be added to and run for
around two years. Does anyone know if the is a maximum number of entries
(lines) of information that can be added to Access.

Go to help and type "specification"

There is no "number" limit. Just a limit in the overall size of the file
based on which version of Access you are using.

Lots ...

The max size of the database is one or two gig depending on the version.
Few people run out of space.

Many of my applications have hundreds of thousands of records and that
is not large but Access standards.

If you can have a couple of gig what would slow the program down so that it
takes like 30 seconds to compile the info in a query? We have this problem
at work and have been told we may need to move to the sequel database instead.
