maximized windows annoy me in administrator mode

If I log in as administrator,
I suffer from the following
annoyance. In administrator mode,
whichever folder I open, the
window of the folder always opens
to the maximum size, occupying the
entire screen. I do not like
maximized windows. So, I have to
click the "Restore Down" button
after every time I open a folder.
How can I make a smaller window
size the default one in
administrator mode?

Safe mode is 800x600.

No, not necessarily. It may be so on your PC. But, not so on my PC.

By the way, David, your posts to this thread have been off-topic to this
thread. I am the OP. Please refrain from off-topic posts unless you
provide an answer to my original question first. The resolution of safe
mode is irrelevant to my original question.

In this thread, I am asking how to prevent folder windows from automatically
maximizing themselves when they are opened in administrator mode (safe mode).
What about tweaking the registry?

Dear David Candy,

Let me apologize again. It was rude of me. Please forget what I said about
"off-topic".
