max number messages in inbox

I believe it was 4294967296 per folder but I haven't tested it. Either way,
you'll reach the practical limit long before the technical one ;-)

I you have to ask, you have far too many in that folder. That folder is
the most active one in your e-mail client. If you want to hold onto old
messages, move them into a separate holding folder.
