master or title page

i put in a title on the master and title pages. along with a date a a slide
number. the date shows up on the slides, but not the title. how come?

If you typed into the title placeholder on the slide master, it won't show
up on the individual slides. You'd have to type in a regular textbox on the
slide master(s).

ok, that worked, but only for the first slide. the rest still don't show the
title.

You have to do that on both the regular slide master and the title slide
master.
