"master boot record not found"

when i start up my windows 2000 NTFS machine i'm geting a message that my
mbr is not found. i think its corrupt. can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Boot from your original Win2k CD and select the "Repair" option. I
believe you can ask the repair console to rewrite the MBR use "/?" for
more info.

Do what William suggests, If you didn't see it, Boot to the Win2k CD
choose the (R) repair console.......the command to fix should be
"fixmbr" without the quotes.

I think you will find it is FDISK /MBR
