in the paper it said to update my computer for security
at microsoft.com/security/security-bulletins/ms03-026.asp
and i went there and i found a download link for win xp
but i dont know if i have 32 or 64 bit. I right clicked
on my computer and hit properties but it said nothing
about any bits. im confused what update should i download
if i have win xp pro.

Download the 32-bit version. If you right click on My Computer and select Properties, the screen will say 64-bit, if you have it.

If you have to ask, you have 32 bit.
64 bit is for HIGH end workstations that must be special ordered.
Also, please read the group before posting.
